Default Help! 1993 S10 will not start!

OK, heres the rundown, so far I have replaced:
1. Fuel pump
2. Fuel filter
3. Fuel pressure regulator
and checked the fuel pump relay. Everything is working but I cannot get my truck to start.
Any help would be appreciated! A few days back my truck leaked water into the interior because of rain. The water dripped from my front windshield onto the steering coulmn. Could this be the problem and what could it be?

It IS turning over right?
Have you checked for spark?
Can you get it to run by putting fuel straight into the throttle body?

Leaked water into the cab before this problem or coincides with it?

Do you have fuel pressure? ~60psi for the CPI motors.

Problem started same day water leaked into cab. I havent checked fuel pressure yet or spark but wouldn't the fuel pump/regulator/filter solve any of those problems as far as the fuel is concerned?

Not if you are not getting fuel power to the pump for whatever reason, or if there is another leak in the plenum that you did not fix or that you caused during the regulator replacement.

In the end, testing the fuel pressure is a diagnostic starting point. If you have good pressure, you can partially rule out the fuel system. I say partially because the potential for having a problem with the electrical connection to the injector is still a possibility. Can get fragile with age.

Just checked fuel pressure and Im getting 40psi. Pressure dropped about 2psi after shutting ignition off. Not sure if it is injectors now or not. What else? What connections should I check for proper voltage to fuel system?

40psi is not enough. Sounds as though you have a faulty fuel pump. The best location to check voltage and ground for the fuel pump is at the fuel pump electrical connection.

I replaced the fuel pump less than 2 months ago so I will check electrical connections. i have the in-tank pump, so are you saying take the tank off again and check there? Please say thats not where I need to check it! lol
