Help With Throttle Cable?
I was replacing the FPR in my 1993 GMC Jimmy with the W code engine, and when I took off the throttle cable, a spring came out of nowhere. Now that I put everything back on, I just stuck the spring in a hole beside the throttle cable. When I cranked it up, it sounds like it's being held at full throttle. Anybody know of this is linked together and does anyoen know where the spring goes?
Where exactly does that spring go?
I took off the entire throttle cable and started it and it's at a lower RPM now, but still revving pretty high. On the Speedometer it actually shows that I'm going between 2-3 MPH while it's still in park and just sitting there. I don't get what the problem is. Anybody got any tips? It's so close to being fixed, damnit.

I'll try and snag a pic of it when I sober up a little bit, lol, had a good night last night... I'll do my best to grab one or two when I wake up, if'n nobody beats me to it before then...
