Default Hole in radiator

I have a nice crack in my radiator on the engine oil cooler side. I assume the poor design of the oil cooler integrated into the radiator caused the baffles to warp and crack the plastic housing. Any one had this happen? I'm left with 2 options... Buy a new rad or have a radiator specialty shop replace the tank (which I didn't know could be done up until yesterday). So what would you suggest? If I buy new what would be a good choice. Any one had luck with the ebay junk? Thanks

You have a 19 year old radiator and the poor design caused it to fail? I'd say that is a pretty good design!

Compare the price of new versus repaired and you'll have your answer. Though, being 19 years old I would replace it, IMHO.
