alright long story short, my hood is jammed on my 94 s-10 blazer. the latch hook is most likely bent, it was bent one morning. I attempted to straighten it out but to no avail. so instead of removing and replacing it i just slammed the hood shut. not its stuck and my powersteering pump is squeeking, and ideas on how to get this hood open to replace the latch I bent?

 

look under the hood,near the latch. you'll see a little metal loop. push it to the right with a screwdriver. hood should pop open,even with the latch bent,it may not open all the way though. once you get to that point just get mean with it......maybe....a sawzall...
