tjjaz is an unknown quantity at this point

I have a 1987 chevy s-10 blazer. I 4 wheel drive does engage. But when i go to take in out of 4 high the gear gride. What can cause this. What is the proper way to take it out of 4 wheel drive.

STOP, then put it in 2wd.
