I am requesting advice PLEASE
Sorry I am making a mess on the forum.
How's that?
The funny thing about my wife is watching this little dainty thing approaching my tree stand carrying her AK47 assault rifle.
She does use it.Probably why I hurry up with the typing.

I went out and tested the Throttle Position Sensor again.Seems to be good.
One thing I am curious about is the Set timing connector...the one you disconnect when setting the time.
Once disconnected the wire going through the firewall read 1900 on the digital ohm meter. The wire going to the computer reads 1830.
I checked the one in my 91 and it reads 1730 and 1.So does this indicate a short to ground in the blazers computer?
I am still wondering if I would be better off switching to CPFI.Dash, pump and all.
Maybe just tired of messing with it and looking for the easiest way out.Did I mention this is being built for my wife?
Suppose to have it done for Christmas.
I think I am getting ill.

I have been waiting for someone to ask those questions.
I'll try to make this short but it may not be....probably not looking back at my other posts.
Grab some popcorn a soft drink.
Q the violin music. Here we go:
I am disabled and in order to help others out and supplement my income I sometimes buy junk vehicles and drag them in on my tow dolly with my 91.
About a year and a half ago I drug in this s-10 blazer in very pathetic condition.
Gonna part it out. Before I part something out I run em to make sure I can sell the parts as in good condition.
Poor little blazer ran but not to good at all.
We had a 97 4 door blazer that everybody wanted to get rid of because my wife's brother needed a vehicle.Remember she's the one with the AK-47!!!:O.....joking of course in case she rids this I LOVE YOU HUN.
Anyways I also had this 92 2wd CPFI blazer and had save about everything form it to sell.
My Granddad (which is like my Father) had some medical issues and stayed with me a short time. One day I was desperate to reconnect with him and started showing him the different manifold and fuel systems GM had come out with since the sick little vara jet II system we all hated so desperately.
Out of the blue he said go ahead Doug and build that engine with the TBFI system.I want to see that.Almost like a dare.Again he was in the hospital and the only thing he looked forward to was hearing that dumb idea of mine fire up and run.
Can't afford it Pap.Heck Doug I'll even finance some of it.
Now what am I supposed to do.
All right Pap.The family voted to rebuild the little blazer.
I trudged a 1/4 of mile through 2"feet of snow (NO JOKE....HONEST) down over a hill one way carrying part, taking measurements and photo's of an extra W engine I tore down.
Gotta get the manifold to clear the balance shaft!
Any way'sI would MUCH RATHER have a newer blazer 4 door modified to a (ZR2) and matching truck with a 5.3 in it but maybe later.
So I am am kinda how do ya say it nicely?
I am sKrUeD but mostly BLESSED!!!
The CPFI IS a lot more power than the TBFI but the TBFI is supposed to be more reliable and less costly.
My fingers are out of breath.

Well guy's I spent a couple of hours this afternoon trying to upload some photos for you.
After some time I finally got it done.Dial up takes forever.
1.Obviously the body after the initial test drives and removal.
2.The 92 W engine I started rebuilding last November in a cold garage built for a model A Ford.
The engine has the TBFI system from an 88 s-10.
3.The blazer with the new body work, engine and of course paint. The paint changes color with it's surroundings.
When it's clear and sunny out it is a bright fire mist cobalt blue metallic. So many sparkles a pimp back in the 70's wouldn't drive it.
When cloudy and rainy it is a purplish blue.I told my wife it was just lipstick on a pig.Don't make since if it aint runnin right.
She WON.
To the left is my 91 with about 277K on it and still running great...thank GOD for that.
In front of that is the oddball 95 my kids named Blink. The right is a 99 Sonoma I was goint to put a 350 in but life took me in the blazer direction. In the back ground you can see the garage I spoke of earlier. The blazer spent about 7 months in there.I wondered when not if it would fall in but thank GOD again it held up.
