Hello everyone.I am trying to figure out what is going on with this truck. It seems to chug and it feels like maybe one of the cylinders isnt firing or something. It always starts up like that and sometimes after its warm it will run smooth but lately it seems to do it the whole time driving. So far i have changed the spider injecters, icm, full tune up,fuel pump, replaced the vacuum lines, new alternator and have had it in 2 shops and they coundnt find anything.Sometimes it will die at stop lights. Please help

Clean out your EGR and the passages inside the intake manifold. You can also bench test the EGR with a multimeter while you have it off to make sure its fundtioning properly. A new EGR is like 200 bucks, but the cleaning fixes 99% of the EGR faults that members have had.

If there is some crap in there keeping it from closing, then its feeding EGR at idle when it shouldnt, and can totally stall the engine. Just take it off and look for crud built up in it, some combustion chamber cleaner and an old toothbrush will aid you in cleaning it off.
