Default Ignition problems

Hey guys

I sorta have an ignition problem NO ses light

Every time it rains hard the truck starts fine but when i get out of the driveway a noise comes out of the tail pipe It sounds like a poping sound out of the rear exhaust pipe. The Truck wont go over 1500 rpms when this happens . Also when the engine warms up it goes away after driving it a few miles

I did change my cap and rotor 300 miles ago

Wires were changed also

plugs are good

Every thing is ac delco accept the wires and the Igniton modual

I think the ignition mod is causing this since its not delco

My pops changed it back then when i got stuck.

Just wanted a 2nd opinion
Thanks for reading

Where did you get the ignition module? Ive heard about these things being picky, sorta like the whole use only ac delco/delphi fuel pumps thing. If it pops out the exhaust etc like that it sounds like its messing with the timing etc.

Let me look around for a min i bet i can find you a cheap ac replacement,il edit this when i find it.

You got the tbi or cpi? I should know this already...pfft lol

edit : Okay for tbi its 76 bucks. BUT if you use the code visa at advance auto online it knocks off 30 bucks. so 46 bucks. a few bucks more then the knockoff. You got any junk yards up there? I think i can get em down here for like 15 bucks used if you need some help

From what i heard today ever since the power got turned on and my net was back up
that one of our water dams gave out .

I dont know if its true but yea no one got hurt or either any deaths

Thank god for my welder machine that i had power the 2 days the power was out

it got to the point the gas stations were out of fuel also
