Default Injector Wiring Harness?

I have a 90 s10 4x4 vin (z) blazer 4.3l and I am having trouble trying to get the fuel injector wiring harness out of the throttle body intake? Does anyone know how to do this the lines are fed into a small hole, but I don't know how to get the lines out of the intake without disconnecting/cutting the wires to the plastic connector. Thanks for any advice.

I'm not 100% sure on a TBI engine, but I know for my CPI, I had to cut the wires and pull them out through the plenum grommet and then insert the new one back through and connected and solder them on the outside of the plenum. So, you might have to do the same thing. Just be sure to leave you enough wire so you can make the connections and solder them.

Thank you for your advice and quick response. Does anyone else have any ideas/experience with the removal of the wiring harness? Thank you again for any replies.

94BlazerPA is 100% correct.

If you are asking this question, you have the CPI engine, not TBI. On a TBI engine, the harness is simple to remove.

I am sure I have a throttle body. I need to remove the harness so I may take out the engine to be replaced.

The grommet just pulls straight forward out of the upper lip on the throttle body... I have two of them sitting on the bench right now.

If yours is somehow different and doesn't have the rubber grommet, then you could either cut the wires, or pull the terminals from the connector and try to feed them back through the throttle body.
