intermittent hard brake pedal '88 S10 2.8 4x4

Default intermittent hard brake pedal '88 S10 2.8 4x4
have changed booster. Is this a standard problem with that era of S10 ? I read somewhere about a lack of vacuaam issue due to idling ? She runs and idles fine but maybe there is more than meets the ear. Saw something about "adjusting the THROTTLE POSITIONING SENSOR.

Vacuum leak maybe. Check the big hose going to the booster along with that check valve
