well the dont look right... i have an '87 s10 blazer. i replaced them with sylvania halogens. they look fine when on high beams but when i turn them on regular it seams my drivers side beam is way off. whats the proper way to ajust them? i know about the bots and how to do that but how do i get them set right... any information would be appreciated.

what was the reason you changed them to begin with? blown out ? or just wanted new? Did the old lights have that problem? last but not least are ya sure ya didnt put the light in upside down? That ive seen personally.... make sure the writing on the bulb is right side up..if its not any of the above maybe a def light!!!!or lights....

well the passenger side one i had to replace the whole housing becuase i got in a fender bender. the other one i replaced becuase i upgraded to a better set up. the catch is i dont have ones where you just replace the bulbs you replace the whole assembely.

If they are fine when on high beams, they should be fine when on low. It seems like you have sealed beams, like mine, and unless the new headlamps are defective they should point in the same direction whether they are on high or low.

Sealed beams are in all first gens...
Got pics so we can see exactly what's happening?
And double check to make sure it's in right, and plugged in properly...

Fixed, they make H4 conversions and they are a lot better IMHO than sealed beams as long as you stay away from the fake projectors.

I had my headlight installed upside down becuase i wasnt paying attention. You could see the squirells in the trees driving down the road. They always had this "holy s***" look on their face.....[sm=wtf.gif]
