ok the last post i did help me out alot with my rough idle now i need help with some interior work. my turn signal switch is pementaly broken i can turn it in circle and circles and it never stop and it is stuck on fast mode i came to the conclusion that the little box is broken. but my question is i dont have the proper tools to get my steering wheel off what can i use to get it off so i can get to the box? i have alot of basic tools though(crow bar, sockets, screwdrivers) you know the basics.oh the truck i have si a 1989 s10 blazer any one with answer it would be greatfully appreciated.

There is no substitute for proper tools AND a service manual when pulling the steering wheel, Autozone normally has the steering wheel puller you need and will loan it to you (with a deposit) so you can do the work. check it out.

I don't know if you have to pull the steering wheel off in order to replace the (MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH)=Turn signal switch. On 1996-2004 Blazers, it is not necessary to pull the steering wheel off to do the job. I am not sure about the 1989 model's, but I would do some more homework on this before pulling the wheel off.
