Default my blazer blows no hot or cold air!

hey guys whats going on. my blazer blows no hot or cold air. what should I check and look at to make at least the hot air work? My thermostat is broken. When thermostats break they usually stay stuck open rather than closed so I'll go out on a limb and say my thermostats stuck open all the time. Would replacing my thermostat make it blow hot air again?

You should replace your thermostat no matter what, just so that your truck doesnt over heat and cause damage to your engine.

What do you mean by "doesnt blow hot or cold"? Do you feel air coming through your vents? If not, it could be your blower motor. Do you hear the motor running?

You need to give us more info about the problem so we can better troubleshoot it. We cant guess, or we could and give you a whole list of things to try that would be a waste of your time.

1. we need year make and model of your truck.

2. how do you know your thermostat is broken?

3. is your blower motor working? (is air moving out of the vents?)

Help us help you.

1991 s10 blazer 4x4. 2 door.

I believe my thermostat is broken because nothing displays on my temperature gauge and my rad is stuck on all the time. No air blows out of the vents at all.

the lack of display could just be a fault temp sensor, not the actual thermostat. When you mean your rad is on all the time, do you mean the FAN? Unless you have an aftermarket electric fan hooked up, you fan will always be ON, due to the fact its connected to your pullies and will ran whenever the truck is running.

Could be your fan switch on the dash. Check your blower motor first.
