Default Need Help!

Okay...thought my blazer locked up since i ran it with no coolant, but then i seen that a wire and the plug it was connected to got burned, in which the wire ran up from the starter. I went to a junkyard earlier and got the part that burned. I cut the wires out the one from the junkyard and mine (all but the starter wire because it went from the plug and then bolted to the firewall, so i just unbolted that wire and replace my whole wire with it...sorry if it's confusing. kinda hard to explain.) and then stripped the wire and twisted then together and wrapped them with electrical tape. The battery is fine so that is not the problem. What could lead to lose of power to the electronics? and since the battery is fine and charged how come the blazer won't even attempt to crank...starter doesn't even click. Please help!!!

Thank you!

wait a second.... i just realized yours was a first gen. when i originally answered this, it was in the general chat section but now its been moved.

im not sure about where the fuse boxes are on 1st gens.

i doubt this still applies but the box under the hood in my truck says "FUSE RELAY CENTER" on the top

BTW: if you write your truck info in your signature, it will prevent morons like me from giving wrong info...
