as far as the temp sensor plug goes you should just snag one from a junkyard, and wire it in. pretty easy. with the gunk you might wanna get a good flush and see how that works. and the code 13 is an o2 sensor which is also a quick fix. good luck man

the wire for the engine coolant line is shot didnt know if i can splice onto the wire farther back on it or if just needs replaced. I dont wanna splice onto it and it doesnt work or wont last. I have a red wire with a ground adapter on end next to a purple wire coming form firewall that go to nothing also. If looking at the engine from the front of car they come from left side and toward the bottom of firewall. I grounded the red wire once but seemed to just give me more porblems but that was when it wasnt runningwell or at all anyway so if anyone has any thoughts. The suggestions have helped and have her back on the road and getting me back and forth to work. Replacing the oxygen sensor soon.

Careful here. One of those may bypass the fuel system and run the fuel pump direct. This is a bypass to see if your pump is bad or not. You cann actually jumper this wire (with an inlne fuse) and hear the pump run. They are Gray on the later models. Let me scrounge around some of my stuff and see if I can get you a little closer. You really need a new GREEN wire for the coolant temp.
