Dear Chevy Lovers,
1992 Blazer
Assisting a friend who has no mechanical abilities.
His air/heat/fan and the light in the indicator window does not work.
There is power to the fuse and the fuse is good.
Any responses would be greatly appreciated!

The lights are two little bulbs inside the control. Is there no air, heater or fan or just the fan (blower) not working. If the blower isn't working, does it work at any speed or just totally not working? To check if it's getting power, it's on the right (passenger) side in the engine compartment. The wire is a purple one that goes to the blower. Check for power after you disconnect it and try the switch ar all speeds. That would be Lo, M1, M2 and Hi. If you have power but the blower still doesn't work, you probably need a new blower motor. Also check the ground wire (Black) that attaches just above it to the firewall. The blower is pretty easy to change (5 bolts). Please post back and we can help you some more.
