Looks like L35, the code for the usual 4.3L V6.

Woot so that means its the high output vortec not the normal vortec right?

 

depends where you look some say its high output some say its the norm only thing i can find that is somewhat reliable (majority of sites agree on) is it is 10hp more than prior years but to me thats negligible difference imo it's nothing to get excited about.

 

If I remember correctly, the L35 was the +90% offered engine. The difference was in programming only and I believe it was due to emissions only...

 

Depending on which RPO 'decoder' you use, L35 sometimes has the 'HO' in its description and sometimes it does not. I think the 'HO' designation is actually just 'BS'.
