No fuel pressure, 94 Jimmy CPI

Oh... THAT'S the creative capilization you were talking about. A play on an old saying we used to hear from my old high school principal... never occured to me to think of it as profane. My apologies. I thought you meant a round-about capitalization on something else...
"Seems pretty suspect,"
Exactly.
" but why not test the pressure as per the tech article (at the schrader valve as well as at the fuel filter w/ pump dead-headed)?"
I don't have one. Money's tight and working with the resources available, like a lot of people. It's payday, maybe I can squeeze one in...
"The pump will only run for a few seconds on initial key-on. While the pump is running, the voltage should read similar to battery voltage and shouldn't vary more than a few tenths of a volt during operation."
And THAT is what I call help!
Thank you.

Try this link Truck Repair: 94 S-10 Blazer won't start, reading postings, side firewall
If the fuel line is not clogged up stream from the bad fuel filter. It might be the oil pressure switch, which will cut power to the fuel pump in the event that there is not enough oil pressure or a bad oil pressure switch. Give that article a read it has alot of good info & tests, & good luck
