No heat, tried everything

Please oh please someone help me. I bought an 83 s10 blazer with an 89 or 90 4.3 in it. Heres the problem, The water pump had the outlet that supplied the heater core plugged off and the heater hoses ran from the block to the core and from the core to the radiator. so i put a new pump on it and supplied the core with water. i then plugged off the hose running to the radiator as i dont know what goes there. bear with me, im new to piston engines. im a rotary guy. so anyways, the core is spewing water from under the engine compartment and i still have no heat. im really angry and want to beat this piece of junk to bits. is the core not under the dash? and one more problem... i had to change my blower fan because it kept blowing fuses, or thats what my mech said. guess what? every 2 days, pop. mech says not to worry, but i am. any advice?? anybody who gives me the correct answer i will give directions to the best 4 wheeling in this state. costs nothing but gas to get here

Blazer that old light it on fire and collect insurance... LOL The last owner obviously knew the heaer core was gonna be a bitch to replace and exp also, so they blocked it off .... I`m sure you were prob never told about the problem??? if ya got from aused car lot ,drive it thru their front window... more than likely the old motor was a 2.8 thats what an ex friend had in his 87 blazer ... Good luck with it.. If ya do burn it ,put the video on youtube LOL

I got it from some little drug addict that i worked with, and no you are absolutely right, i was told that the problem was the thermostat. he said it was a 160 and i needed a 195. i put a 195 in and thats how i discovered the water pump was blocked
