Default no spark no fuel

just to start off i have worked alot on honda's, motor swaps and pretty much whatever. I do all my own work on all my vehicles.

However i just bought a 1991 S10 Blazer 4.3 from the original owner. it has 140,000 miles on it.

Replaced: fuel sending unit, fuel tank, coil, cap, rotor, plugs and wires.

The day i got it, it was running great no problems then i started having problems not starting. I would try to turn it over for half a minute or so and after it wouldnt start i would spray some starting fluid in and bam it would start up. Today i was leaving for work and it wouldnt start so i did the same thing i've done for a few days now and no go. My nieghbor came home and I asked him to give me hand. we found no spark and the injectors are not throwing any fuel. so i figured maybe it is throwing a code. well it is just a code 12 diagnostic mode;no distributor signal to electronic control module;system pass. but as i was reading on here that it should throw that code and the code following it is the problem but that is not the case because there is no code after that. i knew it flashed 3 times then the next code would flash. this is my daily driver and i really need some help!! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!

How long ago did you replace the sending unit, tank etc? Did you put in a new pump at the time as well or just the sender? Can you hear the fuel pump priming/buzzing when you turn the key to run?

pump brand? Get a fuel pressure reading-I usually remove the fuel filter and adapt my pressure gauge to get a reading there-very suspicious of this. JP[:@]

hmm...no spark and no fuel. Have done modules on these years for no spark...also I would get a pressure reading on the pump somewhere as spraying starting fluid indicates fuel issue and having spark...keep us posted. JP[:@]
