Default Not a smooth operator

I have a 94 full size blazer 2 door. It has about 225,000 on it. It seems to be having problems running smooth. It seems like if it were to have a 4 barrel and when y ou floor it to go up a hill the other 2 barrels do not kick in. I am not sure what the deal is, sometime when you start it and run the motor seems to have no power.

It also has caused the tach and the spedo to move erradically while driving.

We have replaced plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor, fuel filter as well as put in a bottle of injector cleaner.

Normally it has a bit of a shudder when you first start, but it is now to the point where it is having problems going up hills, and sometimes staying running.I have also noticed that the idle is very low around 2-300 rpms. Could that be it?

Any help??

Thanks

Default RE: Not a smooth operator

I`m having the same kind of symptoms with my 93 chevy van, with a 350 FI, I`m at the point of thinking that it needs the intake gaskets changed or that my TPS switch is not working correctly.. you could also have a bad catalytic conv (Clogged) I also had that problem and fixed it with a high flow cat and a super44 flowmaster . My van has 167,000 + miles on it..
