odd whirling sound

Default odd whirling sound

when i crank my 89 s10 blazer up it makes a whirling sound i replaced the belt and added some powersteering fluid but its still there it only started it monday morning and it won't quit i can't tell if its coming from the water pump or powersteering pump or alternator i tried turning the wheel but its still there anybody have any hints

ok i replace the tension pulley and the belt but its still there i am think iys the water pump cause its starting to try to over heat

sounds like the bearing in the Water pump is bad because you mention it starting to overheat

ok just replaced the pump and fan clutch and still have the whirling so i swapped the alternator so of it went away so i think its my alternators but it might be the ac idk the powersteering pump pulley has a crack but its been that way since i bought it a few months ago and i changed the3 belt after it started making the soundi have a new pulley i am puttin on it at work tomorrow and a new thermostat cause its still over heating with a new pump.the idler pulley and tensioner pulley both had wornout bearings so i replaced these to theres not much it can be now
