oil pressure

where is the oil presure supposed to be when I first start my blazer the oil pressure is just below 80 and when it warrms up it drops to the mark right above 0 is that supposed to happen

I would suspect the sending unit is bad. Connect a manual pressure gauge to the sender connection and verify the reading.
