Default Oil Pressure.....?

I have a 94 s10 Blazer 4.3 (W VIN). I was just wondering what the oil pressure is supposed to be at while at an idol? Mine idols at half way between 0 and 40, as soon as I hit the gas it stays steady around 45 or 50 lbs. Thanks again guys.....

IIRC, GM calls 8psi the minimum at idle. Old rule of thumb - 10psi for each 1k RPM.
