1991 S10 Blazer 4X4 4.3L

Just traded for this vehicle and am about to get all the kinks worked out. I wish now I had bought one of these back several years ago.

Passenger side power window will not work. I am getting ready to check it out but would like advice of how to take the interior door panel off before I screw something up.

Could someone give me some advice? It will be appreciated!

 

The door panel pops off pretty easily. You can use a flat screwdriver to pop it off. Be careful when pulling off the door because there are wires attached and only have about 7 inches of slack. If your going to replace the motor in order to get out the old motor your going to have to drill out the rivets. Hope this helps!

 

if u search around on here i think there is a window motor how to and that would have the info u need

 

I've had my interior panel off my 93a few times due to the fact that the window's roller likes to jump out of the bracket every few months. Take off the trim piece on the rear of the door, then remove the two screws in the arm rest/handle. You'll need to unplug the window control wire harness too. Now you just have to gently pry until the catches (so sorry for the lack of technical terms) release. I believe there are 4 of them in all. To reattach thepanel, you'll have to hook it onto the edge of the window channel and push down really hard, you'll know when its in place.
