Hello,

So I have been driving my blazer for about a month since the last problem I had with it. its been great till the last few days, I noticed it took longer to start the blazer then usual (more cranks) well tonight I went to the store to get some groceries, came tried to start the blazer and.. nothing. the dash lights up and I can hear the fuel pump but nothing else. I let it sit, for a bit tried again, walked home got a hammer came back and it the starter a few times, nothing. I will have to have it towed tomorrow and I am guessing that I should replace the starter? or should I replace something else?

When I get the new starter will it have a new solinoid as well?

The new starter will have a new solenoid on it.

What are you working on? More details and we may be able to better point you in a direction for your diagnosis.

 

does it crank, but doesn't catch? some vehicle info will be helpful.

 

Yiu can just replace the solenoid you know. More info would help.
