problems with the grid on the back hatch

does anyone know how to fix the grind on the hatch? the lines of the grid look like they are cracked away or something and it sucks when it snows because the wiper doesnt wipe the entire glass area

RE: problems with the grid on the back hatch

most auto parts stores sell a kit that contains a template and conductive paint to fix the grid where it is broken or cracked. Link to an EXAMPLE.
