Default Re-installing belt tensioner on 1990 s10 blazer

Hey there,
I pulled out the belt tensioner because the pulley seemed to be stuck and the belt was slipping on it..
I accidentally snapped the tensioner out with spring. I was able to get the pulley moving again, though its not that smooth, but when i tried to reinstall the tensioner, and screwed the bolt all the way in, it would still be loose and not tightened all the way in. How can I reinstall it? it seems that there is a missing ring for the bolt to tighten the tensioner entirely. any help?

I'd suggest getting a new tensioner. You don't want to lose a belt because it failed again.

That's the best case scenario. I want to re install it so I can at least run the car drive it to a garage or something til I get a new one.
Any idea on how the tensioner itself is assembled?
