Default rear suspension lift

How do I raise the rear suspension? My buddy has some blocks I can have but the leaf springs sit under the axle. It's an 85 s10 blazer.

You know, I was wondering about that tooooo. Could I just put the leafs on top of the axle or do I got to get shackels? I am sure they sell shackels, which extend the ends of the leaves to the frame mounting.

You can either get shackles or and add-a-leaf. You can get a new leaf perch so you can put the leafs on top of the axle but that will lift it roughly 5in. If you do that theres no way to match the front though without buying a 5 or 6in lift kit.

Check out airbagit.com. A few companies make air shocks but that's makes for a stiff ride. If you go that route avoid gabriel air shocks. They are made in mexico and have seen 3 sets blow there tops in less than 10 miles
