Rear wheels lock up in reverse, t case?

Rear wheels lock up in reverse, t case?
So I went to back my blazer out of the drive into the garage today and all the sudden the drivers rear wheel locked up, the brake wasnt on so i pulled it forward and tried again. Same thing.
I jacked it up and the rear end moves freely no grinding noises but in neutral the driveshaft doesnt turn.
Im not sure what else to check other than the input shaft at the rear end (which was tight).
Help?
