Default Crank Shaft position sensor on a 93

93 S10 Blazer 4x4 4.3L V6 Vin W Auto Trans.
Old engine threw a rod purchased another 4.3 out of another 93 blazer swapped out the new engine seems to have been that of a 2 wheel drive since few things were switched over from previous engine to fit properly. Problem that is run into NEW engine has a crankshaft position sensor?(3 prong sensor located behind harmonic balancer, bolted onto timing belt cover)...OLD engine did not have this.. Is it possible and what steps would need to be taken to hook up properly as old engine did not have this or is it an impossible task. Thanx.
