Here it is guys and gals I have a 92 4.3 multiport and sometimes it starts fine but most of the time it will start then putter and die, I then have to put the pedal on the floor and then it will start, but i have to feather the gas pedal till it will idle correctly and I always get this very strong smell of fuel and a big cloud of smoke like the valve seals are bad, but the oil level never goes down. I have replaced the entire ignition system minus ECM, a few sensors, and I always hear the fuel pump when I first turn the switch on. I think it is the fuel injectors but not sure, does anybody got any ideas before I dump a butt load of cash in the motor?
