First things first, do not bump a post after only 6 hours. Generally speaking, 24hours is the minimum amount of time that should be allowed to pass before a post may be 'bumped'.

Next, removal of any emisisons equipment is illegal on the federal level. With that said, on your '83, it would be easy to remove, just look at it...

sorry, i never heard that thier was a time limit on asking another question, not meaning to bump. i was just asking if anyone had done it, not just heard of it, i should have been more clear on that. and i really thought that with as many members as thier in on this site that it was odd that no one was replying. I did look at it and thats why i was asking, thier is a tee that feeds the vacuum advance in the dist that is routed into this, plus the PCV valve isteed in thier too, where is the best place to route these too.

Well, good for you. Hope you don't have trouble passing inspection with all of that emissions equipment missing.

we don't have any inspections here so that won't be an issue.

Just because you don't have inspection stations to test your vehicles does not mean that your state has not recently passed laws making it illegal to remove emissions controls that were installed at the factory...check your state Department of Transportation for your states emissions laws.

Here in Eastern Washington where I reside there are no emissions inspections currently but that does not mean that we can remove the emissions equipment that comes on the cars sold here...

There are laws that have been passed recently making it illegal to remove or alter any emission controls for the whole state...
