Default Steering Stabalizer Missing?

i was looking in my Haynes manual and then through the LMC catalog, both say a 4x4 S10 and such should have a steering stabalizer... mine doesnt.. was that an option or did the ******* who did the front end work on my truck just not put a new one or the old one back on it? is hard to put one on? ive read about the benefits itll do and id like to put one on.

You definetly should have one. What year is your truck? Can you post a pic of the front end? Its not a hard job.

I don't believe first gens ever had them. Some had provisions for them but I've never come across one with it. Mine doesn't have one.

i have a 1992 s10 blazer, i thought maybe i had one cuz the pic in the Haynes Manual(which is 82-93) shows one. i laid up under there and looking at the pic and my truck, there doesnt seem to be any brackets or anything for one... so idk..

As stated, it shouldn't have one. Most 2nd gens didn't even have them.

I've had 5 first gens. My latest one (90 Jimmy) has the stabilizer. It looked factory, but I didn't look too close yet.
