I'm trying to replace the VSS on my 4WD 1992 S10 Blazer but it is stuck. I sprayed it a few times with penetrating oil and let it sit for a few days, but I still can't get the thing out and even started to round off one edge of the bolt on the sensor.
Is there a trick to getting it out?
The location if the sensor on the TC does not allow me to get a good angle at it and the rounding of one side of the bolt pretty much eliminnated the only angle I can get with a combo wrench.
Thanks in advance for any assistance!!

Update: A few whacks with a hammer broke the seal enough that I could get it out.
I replaced with a new sensor; however, it didn't resolve the problem...I still have no speedo and the ABS light is still on (See my other thread).
Any more suggestions of what to check next?
