Question thermostat question!

How do I replace the thermostat in a 94 s10 blazer and it has the vortec motor.

well which thermostat? thermostat sensor for the dash, computer, or coolant flow?

forgive me, do you mean the dash control inside? or the overall coolant t-stat

ok, when you move the lever does it have resistance? can you hear any movement?? does it blow cold air only?

Cold air only.

Cold air only.

I think its the one that connects to the upper rad. Hose below the intake. (Its a pain in the *** to get the bolts out!)

that is the thermostat for the engine coolant! your heater core will be on the opposite side. these cars were built with a solenoid inline for flow control to the core. this may have failed or become stuck

Actually I got in there last night and it there wasn't anything in there as there should be. So I put that new one in and put the housing and hose on then we seen the belt was on bass ackwards and jerry rigged but in the end we got his blazer running good and warm
