Welcome.
A turbo set up is going to be very time consuming and expensive. I wouldn't recommend used parts either. Try running a quick search, I bet you'll get some good info.

i'm with kiwi in that i can't answer that one.
i'm also with okvortec in that if you are going to do something like a turbo, go new. even a cheap set up from e-bay is better.

I think it would be easier to just go and buy a nice used Syclone/Typhoon than try to cobble one together. You can find them on EBAY. Or you might find one locally.

I dont know on just buying a Syclone or Typhoon, they are quite expensive. My friends dad has a 91 Syclone, one of like, 11 in Canada. They are so sweet.
Back on topic, another welcome from Canada.
On the turbo topic, running a used turbo isnt all that bad, if you have the whole set up and you know it works, buying a used one online I wouldn't recommend. Also what made you decide to go with the rear mounted turbo? Or was it the obvious that they work better?

I've used plenty of used turbos over the years, but only when I can pull them apart before purchase to verify that the turbine and compressor is in good shape. I routinely rebuild them with new bearings and seals before installation anyways, so I could almost care less about the condition of those parts before purchase (assuming they haven't seized and damaged the shaft, or are so wasted that the turbine/compressor has been rubbing against the housing). That said, I would never buy one sight unseen, including ebay.
As for installing it, while it _can_ be done, you would be looking at running a low pressure setup on an otherwise stock engine, and likely would be looking at minimal gains for the amount of work involved in getting a turbo in there. Other than the Syclone/Typoon exhaust manifolds, there's nothing else out there that will be a bolt on, or even close to bolt on setup for the exhaust plumbing to the turbo. If you don't want that setup, it will be full custom work. If you're not capable of fabricating it yourself, or have friends that are capable, it will cost a ton to have a shop do it for you.
Keep in mind you'll have to upgrade the fuel system, and have the computer reprogrammed to handle the addtional fuel flow, and be able to handle positive pressure on the sensors. Again - all custom work, and will be expensive whether you do it yourself or not. I'm not 100% sure, but pretty sure that even with the CPI system, the '93 is still using an ODB1 computer system, and does not have flash chips for easy reprogramming. You'll have to get an EEPROM programmer and the software, which was at least a couple hundred last time I checked. Not to mention the knowledge of what to change and how. Screw it up, and you'll blow the engine.
Ideally you'll want to rebuild the engine to be able to handle the boost, and that's money again, and not something you'd want to do with junkyard parts.
Quite honestly, unless you're hellbent on having a turbo'ed 4.3, you'd be far better ahead both financially speaking and power level speaking just to go V8.
