any codes?

i'm inclined to think it might be the coolant temperature sensor. when was the last time you did a tuneup? new plugs, wires, cap and rotor, etc.

check for codes, check the coolant temperature sensor. do a tuneup and replace the thermostat and radiator cap. might want to replace the fuel filter and run a couple bottles of fuel system cleaner through if that doesn't help.

I think 34 is the one causeing your problems.....unless my book is wrong 34= MAP(manifold air pressure) sensor.....you can unplug it and plug the vaccum hose to test it.....but 22= tps(throttle position sensor) and 23= IAT(intake air temp)....but my money would be on either the map or the tps......good luck and let us know how it turns out

The puter takes the info from various sensors, including the MAF/MAP sensor to control engine performance. IT will vary the IAC (idle air control). The IAC operates until the engine is warm. The temp sensor tells the puter the engine is warm. The TPS will tell the puter where the butterflies are and how much trottle you are giving it. It takes that info and the MAF/MAP info and adjusts the timing and fuel injector spray duration to control the air/fuel mix ratio to 14.9:1.

My money is on the temp sensor. Replace it and make sure the wires are in good shape, no bare wire showing.
