i got 93 s10 and i cant find the oil filter. went to change the oil today and couldnt find the thing. where is it. and what needs to come off to get to it?? simple question. but is needed.

 

2wd -rear left sideof the engine
4wd - beneath the driver's side of the radiator behind the door marked 'oil filter'
I advise buying a service manual. Either Haynes or Chilton.
Please put the important info about your truck into your signature, so we don't have to guess about what type Blazer we're dealing with.

 

It's probably under the hood behind the drivers headlight mounted on the fender.

 

You have to take off the air filter assembly to get to it. Looking down on the engine, it's in the bottom right corner, next to driver's side headlight, like Blazin_Jason said.
