Default 1995 Blazer won't start

My son has a 1995 Chevy Blazer 4x4 with a V-6 that failed to start this week. My suspicion is that the fuel pump has quit working, as I can no longer hear it humming when I turn the key on. However, as a test, I shot some starting fluid into the throttle body, but still the truck won't fire up (it doesn't even seem to try to fire). I checked the coil output for spark (there is), pulled a wire from one of the plugs to confirm there is fire at the plugs (there is), pulled the plug and verified that they are dry. Shot more starting fluid into the TB, still the truck does not even try to fire up.

I went ahead and replaced the distributor cap and rotor since it's probably due anyway, but still the same thing (truck won't fire up). I've worked on cars quite a bit as a youth, but it's been quite a few years for me. What am I missing? Thanks.

another thing to try would be to check the fuel pump relay to make sure it is not bad to see if the pump will turn on or connecting a jumper cable from the positive terminal on the battery to the fuel pump test wire in the back corner of the engine compartment on the drivers side

Thanks for the reply. I already swapped the two relays located in the glove compartment (they are the same, just swapped positions). That didn't do it though. I'll see if I can located the fuel pump test wire and attempt to jumper a fused link to that one to see if that will kick start the pump.
