Default 97 check engine light problem...

I just recently got my 97 2dr Blazer LS and when my stepdad and I got it, we replaced hoses and fluids and made sure everything was in good working order. One of the things we did was clean the throttle body with throttle body cleaner. After everything was done, the truck ran fine but the check engine light is on now. Also, the truck idles high. We thought the computer would reset itself but it apparently hasn't. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Thanks

Disconnect the positive battery cable for 5 minutes. After disconnecting the cable, hold the brake pedal down for 10 seconds, then let the truck sit. Hook the battery back up, if there is still a trouble code, it will pop back up sometime within 45 miles.

If the light comes back on, take it to an AutoZone and ask them to hook it up to their OBDII scanner.
