Default 98 Blazer 4x4

Quick question, I have a 98 Blazer 4x4 with the 3 button switch on the dash. I have been lucky enough, or unlucky lol if you like playing in the snow or mud, too never have had too use the 4x4... If I need to go from 2hi too 4hi do I have too be in park or neutral? Or can I simply hit 4hi as long as I am going slow, like 25 too 35 miles per hour? Might sound like a dumb question but I honestly have never had too use the 4x4, thanks...

I've heard you can for from 2hi to 4hi at a slow speed. Personally I engage 4wd at a stop, then slowly inch forward while I engage my posi lock.

To go from high range to low range, you need to be stopped and in neutral

In the blazer manual, it says you can switch from 2hi to 4hi. BUT you must be in neutral to shirt to 4lo.
