Blazer shut died sudenly while driving now won't start
Hey guys
So my blazer shut down randomly yesterday while driving, Just turned a corner and it died, no stutter no chug no nothing just died, I tried restarting it but it won't start, turns over fine and I hear the fuel pump charge but nothing. Already replaced the ignition lock cylinder and switch nothing changed.
Any Ideas what it might be?

It's 1995 and I have tried all the other things below
Also have a 1999 one as well.
Have switched one at a time, the Crankshaft sensor, ignition coil, Ignition control module, checked the fuses ECM 1 and ECM 2 first off.
Also checked to make sure we were getting fuel to the spider on the key turn prime.
Doesn't seem to be getting any spark. Going to run and get a spark tester and test that we have spark at the coil and then maybe look at cap and rotor.
Any other suggestions appreciated.

Yep...there would be spark....but would only be to one possibly two cylinders if the timing chain broke...right? Or if the rotor or distributor cap contacts were really corroided then might only get spark to a few cylinders.

Hey guys sorry I haven't responded in a couple of day been crazy around here
Anyway what looks like happened is the harmonic balancer outer ring thing came off cracked the timing chain cover and busted the crankshaft sensor in the process.
Already did a cheap fix and put on a new cover and sensor, but of course I tried to leave the oil pan on, but alas it runs now but leaks oil like a sieve
I guess I'll start looking into pulling the engine.
Thanks again for the help
