replacing the fan shroud in a 99 blazer
So ours broke. And we bought a new one, upper and lower. And removed the old one, which was easy because it was broke. Is there some trick besides removing major organs to getting the lower back in?

Possibly most auto parts stores may be able to order you one. I would try your local salvage yards or you can order a new one through LMC Truck. Here's a link...

Depends on the year of your truck but either way, it's not rocket science. Just take a look at it... if you have the type that the fan clutch spins off, the large nut turns counter clockwise to loosen it.

I had to replace the lower shroud after I hit a dog with my old 2000 Bravada. I just pulled the fan/clutch assembly out and installed it all from the top. It was fairly easy. The bottom shroud has tabs that fit into slots in the radiator tray on the core support. Once you have that installed, reinstall the fan and then the upper shroud.
