Default Pitman Arm

Hi Blazer-in-Aus,

I haven't had problems with mine (fingers crossed) but I have had to order other items and have found Bunce Motors in NZ to be most helpful.
If you don't get on to them straight away, phone or email back, just in case it was a public holiday in NZ or they didn't get your message.

Unless they have changed hands, I've always found them to be knowledgeable, helpful and prompt with their service.

Not sure about your mirror. My Blazer is black, as is the mirror and the glass is the normal colour.

Sounds like something after market.

Good luck with everything!

PS...I'm not sure if you said something about PayPal or that was someone else posting, but PayPal accounts are easy to set up. If it wasn't you, perhaps the person that mentioned PayPal will read this

Cheers,

Lady P

if you are referring to the interior rear view mirror , there is a little lever attached to the bottom of the mirror
its for night time driving , it simply changes the angle and cuts the glare

I mean the actuall mirror glass, here is a pic, you can see the difference between the color of the house in the mirror and just outside the mirror.

I got a reply from munce today:

We have these items in stock:
Pitman arm $ 220.00
Pitman arm surcharge $ 400.00
R/h mirror $ 250.00
Tow Bar $ 350.00

Paul

$400 surcharge on the pitman arm?? the only thing i can imagine that would be is that its a change over part.

I have 3 RHD blazers in the field that I have just for breaking as both my wife and I drive Blazers and its cheaper to buy MOT failures and strip them then it is to buy new parts.

There not so cheap here in Aus, here is a search on Australia's number 1 car sales site, this is all the ones advertised Australia wide.

I picked one up from eBay last week for £350 and the only thing wrong with it was that the airbag light wouldn't go out so therefore failed the MOT.
