I used the AutoZone swivel on my Son's S10 ZR2 over the weekend. Works awesome on all six plugs. On the ZR2 with the swivel you can pull all plugs by simply raising the front end, i even left the front tires on as i did the job. Super easy.

On my Bravada, I had to strip back the soft plastic cover on the steering shaft to use the autZone swivel socket on #3. Again, very easy.

If none of the above works, Snap on makes a $40 socket that will work, I ordered it but never used it. It has a very neat design that offsets where the ratchet goes. Might work if something like replacement brake lines block access to the plug.

I did mine (2001 4WD 2-door Blazer) by disconnecting the steering column at the gearbox (make sure you have zip ties handy to reattach plastic cover), "telescoping" the column up toward the firewall using a very large flathead screwdriver gently as a pry bar, lifting it up out of the way, then going in through the wheel well.

My friends are incredulous, when I tell them that to do a tune up on my car, you have to disconnect the #$%^* steering column!!

...damn, that offset socket looks good, though!

LOL man that seems like alot of work just for one sparkplug lol. ya that swivel socket is a huge time saver. no need to pull back the rubber boot on steering column either with this one.

You can make one of these. Combine it wit a Crows Foot. basically it acts just liek the Snap-On tool but cheaper

I'm guessing Autozone may have a few varieties. Part number? something we can see On-line?

Not the same #. I worry about the length. Was it Autozone or Advanced Auto?

autozone and im telling u its the perfect length. i even took a socket with me and compared and it is smaller with the swivel already attached. i swear to you that this is perfect for the #3 plug on blazers and it only cost $5.99

I know the length of the swivel socket may vary, that's why I wanted to make sure it's the same as what you have.
