Default Stumble/ hesitation while driving, p0300 code

Hey there,

I've got a 2000 blazer. The past couple of months I've noticed it stumbling or hesitating when I first start to drive it. After a few minutes it seemed to go away, so I just kept my eye out for any other suspicious things. Today, the service engine soon light popped on, so I went to a local auto parts store and they hooked up the meter to see what the trouble is. I got the p0300 code. I'm gonna take it in tomorrow, but what would be most likely? Needing spark plugs/ tuneup or something more serious like fuel injector?

P0300 is almost always caused by a fault in secondary ignition, (Spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, spark plug wres and ignition coil). It can also be caused by low fuel pressure, worn distributor drive gear or bushings, or incorrect adjustment of camshaft retard. Problems with fuel injectors usually set other DTC's.

These engines are very fussy when it comes to certain parts: AC Delco should be used especially with the plugs, distributor cap & rotor and the fuel pump.

I'd be interested in what you find. I had to have my '97 towed last night, started coughing and stumbling up a storm last night, finally died but I was able to restart and keep the engine going long enough to get a nearby friends house.. It was running great on Friday and I have been working on eliminating P0446 errors, I reset the computer last night before driving and within 3 miles the Blazer was running rough... I'll check it out this weekend.
