Default 00 blazer-duplicate key, easy copy or programming required?

Just picked up a Blazer from the PA auction for great price. 170k, engine sounds good but I'm no mechanic. I'll get my hands dirty though.

Does they key need to be programmed i.e from a dealer? I need a couple extra keys.

Also I saw some touch up spray paint at Pep Boys but unsure of who makes the best. The car is a funny metallic light brown greyish color.

Car seems like it could be fun so excited to get it on the road and feel it out after losing my Rodeo a few weeks back.

The key does not contain a chip. You should be able to get a new key cut. If you do need to go through the passlock programming, you should not need to go to the dealership. You should be able to do it yourself. Search for "passlock" and you should turn up the relevant details.
