hi all. i have a 2000 jimmy 4.3 4wd 2dr. 80k miles. the problem im having is upon start, hot or cold it just wont run for a few minutes. id say till it warms up but it does the same thing even if i start it warm. it turns over fine from cold or hot, and if i just put it in drive and try to pull out it just bucks. i have to let it idle a few minutes then it seems fine. im assuming its fuel pump related... just wonding if anyone has encountered this or has a suggestion...
sorry if this is a repost.. had new clue what to search for
thanks

I would actually lean towards a gummed up throttle body. Have you run through the general tune up items (plugs, wires, cap, & rotor) or know when they were replaced last? How about cleaning of the MAF sensor, EGR valve, and throttle body (all covered in the Tech Article (DIY) section).
