01 blazer FPR
I have replaced the fpr on my blazer and the fuel filter, but when replacing the fpr, i didn't remember seeing any tube or line that connects to the nipple... it's all back together, it will start for a couple seconds and sputter out with a very dense odor of gasoline present. This happened about a year ago, since then, I've put it on the back burner up until now, and I want to get it back up and running. So is there a line that I missed? I also feel like I should mention the nipple is pointed down if I remember correctly. Thanks in advance.
That nipple does not connect to anything, since the spider is inside the manifold it basically has the engine vacuum it would need if it were outside of the manifold mounted on a fuel rail (this threw me for a loop as well). I replaced my spider assembly almost 3 years ago, but that sounds correct, nothing is connected to it and it's pointed downward.
